Data deletion instructions · No sign-in is required to read this page.
These instructions explain how to permanently delete your PeersUp account and the personal data associated with it. Deletion is performed by you directly inside PeersUp — we do not delete accounts silently or on a timer without notice.
Go to peersup.com/login and sign in with the account you want to delete.
In your dashboard, open Settings and select the Privacy & Data tab.
At the bottom of the Privacy & Data page, select Delete Account. A dialog shows exactly how much data will be removed (cards, profile URLs, contacts).
Review the warnings, select “I Understand, Continue”, type DELETE to confirm, and complete the short security re-authentication step. Your account is then permanently deleted, you are signed out automatically, and a confirmation email is sent to you.
Your PeersUp account and associated user data are permanently deleted: your profile(s), unique profile URLs, NFC card links, contacts, CRM leads and messages, analytics data, notifications, and consent records tied to your account.
Connected integrations are disconnected and their stored credentials are deleted, including Meta/Instagram access tokens, Gmail and Outlook (Microsoft) tokens, WhatsApp/LinkedIn (Linkup) connections, and custom email SMTP/IMAP credentials. Encrypted credentials are removed from our servers and are not recoverable.
Meta/Instagram-connected data belonging to your PeersUp account — the stored Meta access tokens and message/conversation content derived through the integration — is removed as part of the same deletion process. PeersUp does not retain Meta-derived data after your account is deleted.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Active subscriptions are cancelled without refund. Deleted data is excluded from production systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days.
A small amount of data is retained where we have a legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or security obligation, as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 5, Retention):
If you cannot sign in — for example because you lost access to your email address or your account was locked — you can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at privacy@peersup.com.
To protect your data, we verify that the request really comes from the account owner before deleting anything. Once your identity is verified, we delete the account and associated data for you and send you a written confirmation.
For full details on how PeersUp collects, uses and protects personal data — including the Google Workspace API data section — see our Privacy Policy .
