This Cookie Policy explains how PeersUp OÜ ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) when you visit peersup.com, a public profile, or use our app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use related browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). Together we refer to all of these as "cookies".
2. Categories we use
a) Strictly Necessary
Required to operate the service (login session, security, load balancing). Always active.
b) Analytics
Help us understand how the service is used so we can improve it. Only set after you accept.
c) Marketing
Set by third parties (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest) when a profile owner has enabled retargeting AND you have given consent.

4. Connected-service authorization
When you choose to connect Google, Microsoft, Meta/Instagram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn through an integration provider, or another external service, you may be redirected to that provider's own authorization or login page. Cookies or similar technologies used on the provider's domain are controlled by that provider under its own privacy and cookie notices.
OAuth access tokens and other connection credentials stored by PeersUp are not advertising cookies. They are security credentials used to maintain the connection you requested.
5. Managing your choices
You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
